Here is just some of the feedback we have received which has helped improve our students’ experience…
New Pool Table
You suggested the pool tables looked a bit tired and over used. So we have ordered brand new, improved pool tables for our accommodation in Southampton. Both our High Street and Park House buildings will be getting the updated tables which will be arriving in the next month. With this in mind we have also been busy extending the High Street common room, giving you extra space to relax and socialise with your friends over a game of pool on the new tables. We’re also pretty sure you’ll enjoy the new PlayStation 4’s and latest games too!
Fast Internet Speeds
Feedback has shown us that fast and consistent internet speeds are a necessity for students for both studying and relaxing. So we have set up a new internet provider for Earlsdon, St. James’s and Park House. Meaning you now have access to some of the fastest internet speeds available in private student accommodation! Don’t worry High Street, you will also benefit from this upgrade as from late May.
New Circuit Laundry App
Some students mentioned that they would occasionally have to pay regular visits to the laundry rooms to check if the machines were available. So, thanks to new functionality on the Circuit laundry website you can now monitor the status of the laundry machines in your building, so no more wasted trips! (Or excuses not to do the washing…)
Partnership with Uber
Portsmouth students have been excited about Uber coming to the city. Our partnership with Uber in Portsmouth means that as a Unilife student you can get home safely without it costing the earth. As an additional bonus don’t forget to use the promo code UNILIFE to claim your £15 free credit when you sign up to Uber for the first time.
New On-site Printer
A common suggestion from our residents was the wish for on-site printing facilities. So the recently installed multi-purpose printer in our Park House study room means you need never worry about missing that important deadline because your printer ran out of ink!
New Online Portal for Maintenance and Forums
You wanted better online collaboration, so we have recently implemented a new helpdesk for logging maintenance reports, instructions on how to use equipment, forums for you and your Unilife friends, news about competitions and events and much more… you will have received an email with your login details. Along with this we have also improved our Unilife portal which now allows you to download your statements, review your bookings, pay your rent online and renew your studio for next year. If you’re not already registered online, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and she will be able to provide you with your login details.
