As you know here at Unilife we like to listen to our students. Well, following a recent conversation with one of our Southampton residents we discovered that she had taken up Yoga and was finding it an excellent way to relax, re-energise and refocus on her studies. So, with this in mind we felt that many other Unilife students would also benefit from this experience.

We are therefore delighted to introduce yet another service to the exclusive experience Unilife provides.

Yoga Teacher Adele Squibb. Adele will be providing free student Yoga lessons for our Southampton residents in the Park House Common Room (maximum of 8 students per class) every Monday at 7pm on a first come first serve basis.

Adele has brought the love and belief of Yoga to her classes, workshops and retreats for the past 7 years. She is a motivated Yoga teacher with advanced training – studying Yoga and all the benefits over numerous years. Adele specialises in Hatha, Flow and power Yoga. The aim is that students leave energised, renewed, relaxed and excited about the world of Yoga.

Whilst challenging physically and mentally, the classes are aimed at all levels, with minimal demonstrations and hands on corrections of poses.

Adele says “Yoga is the only exercise routine besides gymnastics and some dance styles that works every muscle in your body – the saying goes: If you don’t use it you lose it.”

Hi,
Could you give me more information on the yoga classes? Where is it and do you think I could join in January?

Hi Jonana

Thanks for your message. Our yoga classes usually take place on Monday evenings from 7pm in our Park House Common Room, you simply need to turn up on the night. Places are limited so we advise getting there a little early to avoid disappointment.

Classes have now finished for Christmas however we are hoping that they will start again in the New Year. Many thanks
