Happy birthday to us!
Our ambitious dream was realised just a few months later in September 2012, when we opened the doors to our first Portsmouth Unilife building – Unilife St James and our first five students moved in. Today, we have tens of hundreds of happy students enjoying #ultimatestudentliving across our six city-centrelocations in Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester.
We put our fantastic reputation and successful growth down to always listening to and acting on feedback from our students to make a living at Unilife a great experience. We’re delighted to announce an upcoming milestone in the eight-year history of Unilife - the opening of our Winchester Unilife accommodation, later this year. This new location is a stone throw away to Winchester University and close to Winchester School of Arts and will offer single and double luxury apartment studios. We do love a birthday – we always make sure that our students feel extra special on their birthday, so we always send every Unilife student a handwritten birthday card to brighten our residents' day.
Despite social distancing, every Unilife building had a party atmosphere with decorations and balloons. We have prepared delicious celebration cupcakes individually packaged for the students, at the reception and in front of their studios.

Unilife Middle Street Portsmouth was shortlisted for the Private Halls of Residences of the Year 2019 at the prestigious 12th Annual Student Accommodation Conference & Awards, organised by Property Week and won a commentdation at the design awards from the Portsmouth Society.
